It is interesting and amazing. Of course, since this movie was made in 1978, it was before most of the major racing games. It was before F-Zero, Midtown Madness, Rush, Gran Tursimo, Grand Theft Auto or any other racing game.
But it is still a wonder that no one got hurt. I mean doing something like this really isn't smart. I mean if you watch police chases, you usually see the driver or the other car drivers nearly get hurt.
It just goes to show ... some ideas are better left untested.
